Purchased FVP-5000 1TB (Refurbished) a couple of weeks ago, ordered before midday and received the following day by 11 a.m. great service. Purchased to replace HDR-Fox T2 after 8+ years of good service. Looked brand new from box, complete with a year's guarantee, and can record up to four programmes at once whilst watching a fifth. Took a couple of days to get used to a completely different on screen menu to Fox T2 a bit slower to navigate but getting easier as time goes on. Access to on demand players + Netflix, You Tube etc. etc., great picture and sound, this is my third recorder from Humax and always worked perfectly so if you're considering Humax, just go for it you won't be disapointed.

Really delighted to have one of these recorders. The last one of these I had was given to my daughter a few months ago. Well worth the wait to get another one

I have had a Humax for many years now and thought I would update to record more programs. Unfortunately, I am technophobic and will wait for my son to visit so he can connect it for me. I have every faith it will be a great product from my previous experience.

This FVP is not as good as our previous one, this is slow to respond, loses internet connection regularly and is not as intuitive as the previous one. The addition of the Metflix button is nice - when it works!

Excellent device, I like the fact that there is a lot of storage capacity and that you can record 4 channels simultaneously whilst watching a live channel. Another plus is that it has a built-in receiver for your wifi so you can view online channels etc. It's well-priced and easy to set up, who wouldn't want one.

After setup, the channels on the guide are not for the transmitter that I should receive. Most of the channels are for Winter Hill and not for North Wales. Most of them showed no information/no signal. I contacted your support line. I was told that the signal was too strong. I took off the signal booster from the aerial and was told to retune and all would be fine. The call was ended. It didn't work. I have found some of the missing I found by the 800 mark in listings.

Takes forever to download the program guide even when connected to internet via cable.
