I wouldn't give this box any stars as it doesn't work. I previously had a Humax You View box which was far superior to this one. I have only had it just over a month, the first box didn't have any apps on it. It was replaced. The second box doesn't have any apps on it. Still not sorted, still can't watch TV and I have a totally useless box which cost £199. Humax doesn't want to take the box back and give me a refund. I am fed up with ringing them, waiting in for a delivery that never comes, and trying to get this sorted that all I want to do now is return the box and get my money back but they won't let me. I have to keep on ringing them in order to try and get something sorted. My advice: don't buy one they are useless.

Really happy with the machine. Useful to be able to record more programs at the same time.

This is a replacement for the previous model which is 9 years old and still working just not as efficiently. The first item was faulty and the exchange process lengthy and convoluted but I think this was due to the customer support agent as when another agent took over it was replaced quickly.

I had a cheapo recorder so thought I would treat myself and spent 200 quid on this. However, things didn't quite work out. The recorder had an awful lot of faults, with app's not working properly, recordings being missed etc. Also, it was very slow carrying out tasks and was not user friendly at all. For instance, if you record a series it puts them into a folder and YOU have to find out which is the oldest & newest. There is no 'information' on the programme you have scrolled to, so you have to guess what it is about i.e. if you are looking at films there is no info tell you the genre, content, synopsis or anything. I also found it doesn't like weak signals. I had it when we had some windy day's, (by no means) gales and the thing just kept going blank, constantly, my cheapo Hitachi never did this. In summary; it's sloooow, not user friendly and fundamentally floored by way of features not working. I returned for a refund and the customer service I couldn't fault.

It is excellent and good value, except for one matter. I would like a brighter light to indicate when it is one or off.
