I purchased a Freeview play box and when I went to install it the plug adapter was missing, I then had to buy one and now can't get a refund I won't be buying anything else from them.

Disappointed with the Humax. It is very slow to respond to the handset and I sometimes have to press the button twice to get a response. Netflix is particularly slow to respond, much slower than the BT recorder the Humax replaced. The only advantage over the BT recorder is that the Humax can record more channels at the same time.

I cannot comment on my new recorder as I thought my old one was about to die but it's still limping on, as I have loads of recordings to watch I am carrying on. The only thing I was worried about was whether the warranty would start from purchase date or from when I start using The delivery was fast and I have been happy with my last humax , hence why i have purchased another one

We bought this product because our previous TV service provider massively escalated their prices. My parents have had good experiences with Humax. Freeview gives us everything we need. This box is very easy to use and the pause, rewind and record functions are great. The box operates a little slower than our previous TV box, but it does the job satisfactorily.

Mind numbingly easy to install. Not that I want to record 4 programmes at the same time and watch a fifth, but it's really useful when programmes overlap, or another finishes too late.

A very compact machine not quite as easy to use as my old one but I am getting used to it, it records well as expected but controls are a little sensitive for rheumatic fingers, great quality and I would highly recommend this product

This is my second purchase of this product, the first one just "gave up" suddenly and I was unable to revive it no matter what I tried. The new one works well although it does run noticeably hotter than the previous one. Even though we are in the 21st Century, this product cannot receive ITVX - Bummer! So I have also had to invest in an amazon fire TV Stick to get ITVX plus a lot more. Humax stuff is generally pretty good. It would be nice to get some sort of warning before the unit is likely to fail.

Excellent PVR. Replacement for our Freesat device which has also been excellent but thought we would update. Sometimes freezes which we didn't get with the Freesat but is not affected by atmospherics. Easy to program and use.
