“Really pleased with it. Takes some getting used to with more facilities but really miss the info button whilst looking ahead not enough detail like on my previous Humax.

“Well to be honest so far i am very disappointed. The basic operation is ok but only the BBC-Iplayer seems to be working ok the Chan4 and Chan5 players don't work and the ITV Hub is very iffy. Humax says they are working on a solution to correct this but very poor showing to be selling equipment in this state. Also the remote control is often very slow to respond. Yes very disappointed as my previous Humax Youview recorder was fine until it started freezing every other day.”
“Nice looking piece of kit but took a little longer to figure out than previous models I have owned but once you get used to and finish a the setups it’s fine, would have liked to be able to jump the adverts like on older models but this one you have to fast forward.”
“Good quality and specs. Like the ability to record more than two channels which limited older models. Only gripe is it does not have the same picture int picture ability my old humax freesat box has when using the tv guide to set up recordings.”
“The box generally does what it says on the time ... but My5 does not work at all, the other catch up channels take their time to load. The back channel under guide is often blank so you can’t watch what happen on any channel an hour ago. The live TV ap has only recently started working, but will not show any HD recordings you’ve made. But you can view these off the PVR so it’s not a big deal. With the multiple recording option I have never had a conflict yet. But sa small proportion of prog fail to record. Generally the PVR recording is excellent with loads of spare storage on the 1tb drive.”
