“I once bought Humax box classed it has the Rolls Royce of PVRs, I have owed few Free-sat boxes which are very ease to use. Then I bought Freeview Play Recorder FVP-5000T. This is not user Friendly at all, in fact I am going Class this one has the Reliant Robbin of PVRs.
It has Problems one is, when you record a series of say 6, and now you want to watch them it always wants to start at part six And not Part one. and second one is the program guide, it take ages to load on the program data and some times it does not bother.
And now lets get to the other problem the Live TV APP which is so out date it wont load the program data at all. I thought Humax where better than this.
on the whole i`m very disappointed with my purchase.

BUT when i trying to regester my new box i found it hard to work if i have registered my new box as no confermation has been sent to me”
“Easy to operate once we had made sense of the instruction manual. Called the help line to resolve a couple of issues One was a software issue which they say they are aware of and are working on. The other was questioning the purpose of the two buttons on the top left and middle of the remote. Was promised a reply but none forthcoming yet. Picture qualityn through recorder better than direct to tv.”
“Menus aren't as easy to use as earlier models. Why change something that works perfectly well?
Blue light pointing downward isn't a good idea as it is sometimes barely visible.
Other than those points it works perfectly well.”
“This is at least the third Humax product that I have purchased over the years and they get better and better. Quick delivery. Easy setup. Excellent function.”

“It’s very slow Especially on catch up tv. it takes ages to come on and sometimes it doesn’t work at tall I’m very Disappointed as it wasn’t a cheep Machine.”
