“This refurbished unit looked good and fresh out of the box. It does what I wanted it to - allow me to watch recordings from our Humax 500-T in another room. I wish it had a bit more functionality like the main box when fast forwarding through adverts etc. but overall it does what I want and has made things much more convenient.”
“Worse than poor - absolutely dreadful. If I could have given it zero stars or better still, minus stars, I would. No instructions and those on-line very poor plus staff exceedingly unhelpful. Avoid like the plague.”
“It took quite a bit of getting going, mainly because the instructions are poor and omit several steps such as settings on the PVR and the need to register and agree to more than one privacy policy. Following an afternoon on the phone to Support it now connects to the 5000 and can play recordings, which is mostly what I wanted. What it still doesn't do is load a guide and allow recordings to be set. I have a reference number for the support query on this but await further information.”
“Despite the very poor reviews and the fact that Humax no longer offer this product new, I bought two of these for rooms with no aerial point to replace Sky multiroom.
I was extremely disappointed to find that they would not connect to my main Aura box but did manage to connect them to the FVP-5000T located in our bedroom.”
