Great improvement on my older Freesat Humax box as it has a bigger capacity and many more HD channels available

Excellent player but one thing I miss is ability to fast forward 30 seconds at a time, great for adverts. In every other respect does everything well and looks brand new.

I bought this for my wife,so she could record her own programs. Being refurbished it was cheaper but it looks and operates like brand new. Very pleased with both recorders I have bought. Would recommend.

I’ve had a Humax before but the one I had was about 13 years old. I decided to get this newer model, even though reconditioned it came all packed as if brand new. It took me a little while to get used to the new remote control, but now I have it’s fantastic and so much faster than my old one, plus the fact you can record more channels at one time, and I couldn’t with my old one. It’s Absolutely brilliant..!!

Recorder works fine and delivery service efficient. However, I didn’t expect to have to delete a large number of recordings from the refurbished machine before I started using it!

The FVP-4000T Mocha is just my cup of tea. It's a refurbished unit but one would never know, as everything about it looked like brand new except it came in a plain box...so what? I've experience of 3 other brands of Freeview recorders and found the Humax performed very well in comparison. All boxes tend to crash from time to time but this hasn't been a problem with this Humax, just once so far. The remote does all you want it to, some of the menus are a bit quirky but I soon got the hang. None of my recordings has been a problem so far, they all recorded and played back fine. The one time I had a problem was when the Programme Guide took ages to load, so I was unable to highlight the programme to be recorded (which was some days in the future). But I fancy that was either the newness of the box or a network problem. On the back of the unit the outputs are quite generous and all throughput is available as Composite Video via phonos for Old School users, my old Tvonics couldn't do that. I've loved the box so far and if (like me) you like bargains I suggest you snap one up soon.
