“What an amazing machine! After feeling somewhat apprehensive changing after using a Humax Freesat box that I was very happy with until it became outdated after being unable to receive BBC iplayer I was really not sure to change to a Freeview box. This small box has amazing features and is easy to install and understand the instructions. I was up and ready to watch within 15 mins. Of course, there are some significant changes to the previous model but it didn't take long to get used to and with some great improvements too! Well done Humax!!”
“I have an internet switch conected to my TalkTalk router on their Fibre plan and that connects to a legacy Humax Freestat recorder as well as a Toshiba BlueRay and DVD player and of course the FVP-4000T 500GB all of which are connected to a HDMI HD switch that I bought from Lidl. The TV only only had two HDMI sockets so one is taken up with a Chomecast and its 5v USB supply. The picture quality from all the devices is exemplary while the sound is handled through the television into a Quad 99/909 Hi-Fi system with 989ESL speakers.”
“There is a software problem on the product which Humax currently do not have a solution for and the problem has existed since early November 2016. The product does not work as advertised and requires to have a factory reset applied almost every day.”
