“A really good box which isn't quite as slick to operate as a skybox but overall very good functionality and a bargain especially if you mainly watch terrestrial TV channels. 30 skip function great for adverts skipping and if I could suggest 1 improvement it would be to have a favourites button as there are several clicks required to get there from the home screen. Overall I am very impressed and would highly recommend it.”

“Having had sky for years we decided to take the plunge and end the contract to save £s. We have found this Humax HDR-1100s fantastic. The picture quality is great, you can record just like sky, once you pay for the box it's free. We signed up to Netflix for a fraction of the price of sky and are able to watch this via the Humax box. Altogether it's the best thing we have done for viewing television.”
“Excellent performance but set-up needs some better instructions - at least, I needed them. Had to hunt online for the cure for large volume differences between HD and SD channels - soon fixed but annoying - an, if you leave the box off, start-up is slower than I suspect it could be. However, generally very pleased. Hopefully FreeSat will add Film4 HD ... and Sky Atlantic? Possibly not! System works well with a Harmony Universal remote.”
