“It's very good, 2 week tv guide. The series link recording feature is very reliable. I've never ran out of space with the 2TB. The only thing I'd change is the green theme of the user interface. It's terrible 80's. Blue would be much more modern.”
“Finally moved from Sky. The Humax box was easy to install and it is easy to use once you get used to it. My only criticism is that the controller is black and difficult to see in a dim lounge in the evenings.”

I'very had over a dozen human boxes and with a high frequency of failure to hard drives and software problems. I plan to abandon Freesat as there is little option when looking for a PVR.”
“The first recorder I received did not work. It was not made clear that to return it meant keeping the cables and remote etc was necessary. I have never encountered that before with other faulty equipment in the past. The replacement worked but only after I had to contact you to send cables etc. I was disappointed that the remote has an identical signal to my Humax Freeview recorder and so I have to switch on manually. But it is a good product otherwise.”
“I am thrilled with my Freesat recorder, after the initial price paid there is no more to pay for watching close to 200 tv channels! For many years I subscribed to Sky satellite television, paying between £20 and £25 (basic package) and the majority of the time viewed network tv channels.
The HDR 1100S has a huge capacity to record all of my favourite tv series and dramas. It will pay for itself in less than a year!
