“There was a problem with our model, the remote receptor in the unit hardly worked. Every fifth or sixth button push on the remote actually worked, even if less than a foot away from it.
The remote operated our TV perfectly, so no problem with the remote itself.
We returned it and awaited a refund, which eventually arrived but only after some phone calls with a rather abrupt customer help person and a couple of weeks without TV. So I'm not impressed with the refurbished model and not happy with the customer support. It's all been refunded now, and a new model purchased from Richer Sounds which works perfectly.”
“Really happy with box and how it looks and performs and menu lay out is really easy to use on the down side there's a few channels that are not on here but are on freeview (I know freesat and freeview are different) if I had to be really picky the remote annoys me how some of the buttons click when you use them but that just me been with sky for years and decided to leave and get this box overall really impressed with it and would definitely recommend it”
“As a refurb it's fine but the actual box and software is buggy, clunky and slow. Last software updat was middle of 2016, I expect at least quarterly updates to fix all the bugs.”
“I purchased this device and after just under a month i started experiencing the device freezing and locking up. I contacted supported which advised me that a hard reset of the device would fix this issue however it did not. I have also been told that i could be sent a replacement device with a collect/delivery service swap which i am aiming to do but ideally i am not happy with the device and would prefer a refund.”
