“I write this from the perspective of a sky plus user so with that in mind... The box and control are a bit slow and it's took a while to start to get to grips with it. I have also found that (and it may be my TV) that it easily slips off the HDMI if you don't get the button press in the correct start up order and unlike sky it doesn't default back to it.. irritating but just involves getting the tv control.
Now for the performance of the. ok, it's quite good and that just gets it the 4th star. I like the ability to go back on the weekly planner to record and play shows rather than catch up and recording is easy.”
“Got a Humax to replace Sky. Fairly satisfied with unit. Sometimes brief loss of sound. Sometimes seems to be Recording when I did not set it for that.
The menu layout is not as clear as the Sky one. Prefer a time line along the top to cover all programmes instead of the 'jiggled' one that appears.
Otherwise pretty good.”
