Thrilled. I now have a Humax Freesat as well as the Humax Freeview recorder. Both are excellent.

Box like new. This is my fourth HDR 1100s and so far had no problems with either refurbished models. The only difference I can see is that the refurbished models come in a plain white box where the new models come with advertising on the box.

Good machine that is easy to set up and work. Only downside is that the hard disk is a little noisy. Would recommend.

I bought this as an upgrade from an earlier model Humax, mainly in order to access iPlayer and Netflix easily, which this does. At the same time I abandoned a Talktalk set-top box which did both but did not stream properly. The new Humax works excellently and, being wi-fi, meant I could do away with an adaptor to connect with a router. I have one criticicism however. It is not possible to use the T.V. Guide to catch up easily on earlier programmes; one has to go to iPlayer to do so and this is a nuisance. Surely it would be possible to enable one to find a programme via the Guide, click on to it and be taken to iPlayer - so much easier and more elegant. Selecting a programme from the Guide could also do with smoothing out- too many steps.
