“This was an upgrade to replace our older Humax Freesat which has provided many years of excellent service but did not have a hard disk. We also have a Humax 1000S (1Tb) which has also been excellent and we wanted the equivalent. The machine has been as good as we expected from Humax. My only criticism is it doesn't display which station has been selected (as the 1000S does) and that it is sometimes difficult to see whether or not it has been switched on. Because of this we would swap it for another 1000S.”
“Very good unit with superb picture. However, I do not like the program guide - it lists now and next with start times - confusingly, the info is mixed having to look left and right to get the detail. My old Humax box FoxSat HDR program guide was more logical showing all programs in a complete list with a moving time line. Why does Humax have to change the program guide from a perfectly good and easy to use one to a different none logical setup. Irritating!”
“Although I am still coming to grips with the different formats that my old system had, I am quite pleased with this refurbished Freesat box, especially as I can now access catch up when I have missed a program. Good buy I think.”
