“Bough to replace my 9 year old Humax Freesat PVR which has given excellent service but I player support has gradually been lost. This refurbished box is excellent. Download of tv guide is much quicker and the 7 day roll back option to view past programs works very well, seemlessly loading the appropriate I player.
The unit is very compact.
Minor downsides are, no front panel display and a "invisible" power indicator sited for some strange reason, under the unit.
The fast forward function is a bit glitchy and has a delay plus having to press the fast fwd several tines to get it to function
Overall though this is an excellent bit of kit for the money.
A great pitty that Freesat and Channel 4 have thrown their respective dummies out if the pram, no Channel 4 HD or I player now!”

The set up was easy with excellent results on WiFi so I didn't bother with the ethernet connection.
I am very pleased with the quality and performance, easy to navigate the menu's, EPG is good.
Does exactly as advertised and great value, can't think of anything I would change.”
“Would have preferred the on-box display of previous models. Don't like the shape - rounded corners do not square with rectangular TV's! On screen programme display could be better-you should able to scroll from on the hour instead of the half hour. You should be able to choose the colour of the display. Otherwise a first class product which allows non-smart TV's to become smart. You Tube viewing is excellent. Refurbished product in name only - looked brand new. Easy to set up. Gave up on Sky years ago for Freesat and would never go back!”
