“Bought this to replace my ageing Humax Foxsat. It’s certainly a step up from the first generation freesat box. Superior picture quality and the on demand options are a big bonus. Particularly love the Netflix app. Would have awarded a five star review but the only glitch that prevents this is the set top box keeps ‘losing’ the on demand and showcase features. I have to keep disconnecting/reconnecting the WiFi to rectify. Minor but irritating problem - fairly longstanding according to the Humax user forum.”
“What lets this recorder down are the sub-titles. they are often out of sync with the picture. sometimes the sub-title appears 10-15 seconds before they should”
“I have had a number of Humax Freesat boxes for a number of years. The latest box with TV recording is working very well. I have found these boxes very reliable. The help line is also very helpful. At present i have 5 Humax boxes in all my rooms. I would recommend these to anyone.”
