When changing back from online content back to TV the volume goes to zero
The volume control shows on screen but does not affect the volume at all.
Favorites is hard to find without help and will not come up automatically - what is the point of them being favorites !!!!
Front panel light is never clearly on or off - preoius display was much better.
I would accpet my money back if Humax are offering !!!”
“A smart looking FreeSat Box, had trouble recording at first and spoke to the Helpline who suggested I "Reset" the Unit and then re-boot which corrected the fault. Thought the Unit should have been ready to use without factory reset??? Now have problems with the remote that does not always respond to the TV,, taking a battery out then re-installing it seems to correct the problem - have I got a "dodgy" remote?? Last night could not get FreeSat on the TV at all, started to function hen stopped! I eventually switched everything off, waited then switched the power on again, FreeSat started to work!! Shouldn't have to "play around" like this, perhaps the Helpline will read this and offer advice, my wife says I should just send the Unit back!!!”
“Although the freesat mode functionality is good, there is very poor non-freesat mode functionality for the HDR-1100S compared to my previous model (Model:FOXSAT-HDR, Software version: HPRSFCI 1.00.21, Loader ID: U7.54)
On the HDR-1100S
In non-freesat mode I cannot EDIT or MOVE channels as I could before.
If I want to select non-freesat mode, the software always defaults to freesat mode at start-up. Then I have to go into settings and then select STB as non-freesat mode.
If I want to select the on demand channels, I have to go into free-sat mode first.
I cannot revert back to non-freesat mode, and have to go through the freesat mode again.
I cannot view the channel information or guide in non-freesat mode.
I hope there is a fix or software update due to ensure I have the similar functionality as I did with the FOXSAT-HDR.

dont like the index on the TV Guide as the channel logos are not that clear -
also would be great if they could section channels into types similar to the SKY system
I expect I will get use to it
not clear what all the buttons are for on the control hand set
daughter likes hers which she has had for 8 months
think the older one gets the harder it is to change so be nice if future upgrades take into account the fact that older people struggle with change to technology so be nice if screen menu could have a zoom button and not to hard to use”
