“The Humax HDR-1100S 2TB far exceeded my expectations, It's recording capacity is far larger than the latest Virgin Media unit that we own and it is just as easy to use.
I am so impressed with it that I'm going to purchase another and get rid of Virgin Media.”

“For about six years i have owned and used a Humax Foxsat recorder which is a delight to operate. Unlike the HDR 1100X which is too complicated for me. The "Red Button" is particularly laborious to use and the commodities seem to have disappeared completely!
Now when i need to access this service i use my old Humax.

“I owned a FOXSAT HD recorder and 'upgraded' as there were problems with the disk in the old unit.
The 1100S is a step back on the old system. Recording fail for no apparent reason. It restarts for no apparent reason. Subtitles are so far out of sync they are frequently unusable (20 seconds in advance or behind). The ability to organise recordings does not exist anymore. If you stop a viewing is does not retain its position in the recordings list so you have to search to resume the recording.
Features have been removed that were useful removed.
Whilst there are some new features it is very poor when the latest version is so far inferior to the original.”
“Purchase this as it gave me the optuinity to record two channels at the same time and can still watch a third channel on the freevue as it seem that the program times clash the performance of this freestat box is very good and as it give you the HD channels is exultant.
The 2TB hard drive gives you all the space to keep your recordings, I am very pleased with this box and hope that it give me good service for many years.”
