Humax DTR-T2000 YouView Recorder-1TB Reviews

4.4 Rating 7 Reviews
Good price and an attractive box. Does everything expected of it. The only odd thing is that there doesn't appear to be an on/off switch. Should the need arise it has to be turned off at the mains.

Very pleased, especially as I have been able to add Eurosport and BT for a small additional amount on my broadband bill.

I purchased this machine to replace an older humax box that had started to fail and so far i have found this box to be a worthy replacement, the ability to set recordings via mobile phone is excellent however the lack of using the arrow keys for fast forward and rewind during playback is a feature sadly missed as there is no way to carry this out except for 60 seconds forward or 15 seconds backward apart from this its a excellent machine that i would recommend

This device was purchased direct from HUMAX (at the same cost inc. delivery as anywhere else I could find it - so great value). It replaced an old troublesome BT box and this DTR-2000 has worked perfectly. It has a smooth and responsive youview interface. The box is quite a bit smaller than other freeview recorders I have had in the past. Overall, I am very pleased.

Had my new DTR-T2000 1TB for a few weeks now, I'm really pleased with it. It functions just like the previous model which I still have, but it's much quicker to respond with the remote and locate programs and recordings. I just wish there was a way to share the content on the new box across more TVs so that I only need the new faster box.

I bought this to replace my original Humax Youview DTR which had given up the ghost. I was happy with the old unit it had served me well since Youview had launched and was used around 12 hours a day every day. The replacement unit is better in every way that matters with much faster access to programes on the BBC iPlayer etc. and faster scrolling menu pages which have the info there without waiting for the processor to catch up, I really like the fact that Humax kept the same remote as it was well designed and easy to use. overall I would say that Humax have made a good product even better whilst keeping it familiar to existing users.
