Peoples reviews are mixed on the machine personally I think they are ok while they are working,but would not bother again.
Brand new machines have a life span of only 4 to 5 years,which was confirmed to me by a technician,so it's up to you where you spend your cash.
Humax need to get their fingers out when it comes to the components used in their machines.

“After reading reviews by others I took the plunge, bought a refurbished unit from Humax and I am very pleased I did. There are no external signs that it is a 'second' and I have to say it seems to be an ideal purchase.
I wanted the flexibility of a scart connection as well as hdmi, hence why I bought this model rather than one from a rival manufacturer.
