Before buying this latest HUMAX, I thought I would try a Panasonic recorder.
Personally, I found the Panasonic nowhere near as user-friendly and good. Now I am back with Humax, I am far happier.”
“Came as stated, but remote not working, took 5 days for new remore to come. Easy (ish) to set up, and all functions worked, but VERY noisy, have this in my bedroom, and couldn't sleep with it recording.-phoned Humax easy to get through to, and pleasant knowledgable staff, seems this model is renown for it, by reading other reviews. Returned for credit Easy to return, Humax did everything.- Good company but noisy product”
“this is our second unit- replacing another Humax model of 10 years use. much more responsive to the remote control, the only annoyance is the delay in powering up which also affects the through signal.”
“Works very well however is exceedingly noisy when just sitting idle. Find some of the info very hard to read as much lighter than other information - needs to be much darker.”
“Not all that good, keeps going blank on normal TV and on recording, tried everything, even got a booster, still didn't make any difference, got all new cables, should have got BT in the first place. Not impressed at all.”
