“I am usually really happy with anything with the Humax label...but the Humax eye camera. Was extremely difficult to set up and when I eventually got the app running, the live stream was not from my camera but someone else!!! I have since disconnected the camera and intend to send it back.”
“I bought two of these cameras and whilst the quality is excellent can’t seem to get the motion sensors working when away from the location as it doesn’t ping when movement is detected otherwise it’s a great product.”

“Purchased when on offer so great price for to be honest is a great camera, although first camera was not after a couple of days registrating when I left & returned home on the recording side of things. After trying different things with Humax Tech team who were very helpful Joseph in particular they decided it was faulty & a replacement was sent, so far so good.
The only downside I find with this camera & really the y-cam app is the fact that as it stops recording when you return home when you retire to bed for the night if something bad happened in the middle of the night it would not record any of it. The only work around this is to manually turn off the location recording on app each night before you go to bed, which I think is a huge over sight & the app developers need to address with some sort of recording schedule.”
“The Camera is good - video is good - snapshots are good.
The system falls down because of the Y-Cam App - detection mode is turned on and off by the location of a `paired` device. The App recognises my mobile okay, but has never recognised when the phone leaves my home, the motion detection never turns on. `Unpair` my phone and all I get is a mass of `false` motion detections.
I have turned Motion Detection off and now I have a rather expensive method of viewing a `live` camera view from anywhere.
Pretty useless for home security and a total waste of money.”

“Excellent neat little camera with good sound quality as well. Ability to adjust the area of surveillance is useful. Although seven days memory in the cloud isn't much you could download and save clips of interest. Ours is mounted in a porch and works well, wifi connection is better than an Igeek camera mounted closer to the router.”
