“I have always been impressed by Humax products and currently have two set top boxes and they are both excellent. The Humax Eye might be a good product but it is let down badly by the partner app (Y cam) that simply does not work. In my case the app functioned once then froze - no fix was available. The "eye" is useless without a functioning app and I hope Humax can offer a solution in the future.”
“Works well and easy to setup.
However, it loses sync with the router a few times a day, which means that it would not record an intrusion while it’s
trying to re-connect.
Also, the location recording affects the camera in such a way that the camera won’t record motion while the owner’s phone is in the house.
...this means that a break-in while the occupants are sleeping won’t be recorded, which defeats the whole purpose of purchasing a security camera.
On the plus side, any recording is saved on a cloud and retrievable/downloadable up to a week in time.
Good camera, but needs work on recording while the owner is at home.”
