“It's exactly the same as the one that came with the unit. However, it did not have the latest software and had to be updated. Latest software has been out for over a year yet Humax can't be bothered... If it's the same quality as the original the freeview/settings button will no doubt fail again. So it's a poor quality remote.
Also I was forced to buy this as Humax have failed to send out a replacement under warranty, making my unit unusable. Thanks for nothing Humax.”
“The remote is pretty good and particularly when connected via bluetooth. The controls are not that well laid out and too easy to press the wrong button and spoil live pause. Main issues: (1) the original lasted 3 months and I had t get a new one. (2) The universal remote capability - the manual (and online version on the Humax website) is WRONG. I even tried to call the support line but the representative was useless and knew less than I did. Eventually worked it out from some forums. Really not good enough!”
