“We had a great stay at Altomincio Family park. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The facilities were great for our children (aged 6 +4) who loved the super pools and slides, go karts and the evening mini disco and ice cream shop!”
“Our second visit to Altomincio Family Park, having enjoyed our first. The second visit was just as good with a number of small improvements made in the park from the previous year including a larger ice cream parlour and a new splash zone for kids Super friendly staff and the park features a very well stocked and reasonably priced supermarket on site. Close to Lake Garda, the motorway and railway station, making good access to the local cities including Verona, Venice and Milan.”
“As per my review from last year, the pool was extremely busy and whilst I know that providing additional pool facilities is probably unlikely , the park should consider the impact on customers if it ever wants to increase capacity. We stayed in the new Joy accommodation and that was great, couldn’t really fault it apart from maybe further cabins being spec’d with a larger bathroom especially for adults. The one disappointment this year was the staffing levels and stocking in the main bar. At busy times there was only one server which resulted in long queues, in the summer holidays should needs to be addressed. Also, the bar wasn’t regularly stocked and servers were making drinks with alternative options, e.g. a Hugo cocktail being made with wine because they had run out of Prosecco - that isn’t a Hugo and staff should advise rather than serving a different drink having already taken the money. As a positive the staff were always smiling! One further positive was the standard of food in the main restaurant, it was very good and you couldn’t really fault the quality although they should seek to bring all the food for a table at the same time rather than serve what is ready, it resulted in one or two of us having to wait whilst other members of group had already eaten. Having now been to the park twice, we are likely to travel somewhere different next year.”
