This has become our "at home" house blend. Love it for it's mellow, smoothness and the slight hint of something a little bit darker.

We like a bit of bite to our morning coffee but we dont want to end up on a coffee high all morning. 1942 Blend does it for us. There are some lovely mellow tones, a bit of a kick and then a deep satisfying warmth.

1942 Blend took us a while to find - we had worked our way through a number of H R Higgins coffees all were really distinctive and close to what we wanted as a morning coffee. Then we tasted 1942 Blend and "en famille" we knew it was the perfect blend for our morning coffee. We grind the beans - make the coffee in a cafetiere with the water just under boiling - perfection!

Been drinking espresso coffee for over 50 years from Venice to LA. Blend 1942 is the best by far.
