UC4 Radiata Pine Sleepers have undergone a powerful tanalised pressure treatment to protect the wood from rotting and dampness.They have been kiln-dried to dramatically reduce the moisture content. The preservativewas then added to the timber under pressure to ensure deeper penetration of the preservative.This deeper treatment increases the longevity of timber sleepers. These sleepers are initially a green colour which will fade over time under UV exposure.They can be stained to preference with a wood treatment or stain.We also recommend applying treatment to any new edges if the sleepers are cut. Sleepers are popular for use in a variety of landscaping projects.
