“Booked for (3 adults 2 kids) to go from Las palmas airport to our resort and return 9 days later. No real problem with the journey going to resort.
However for our return journey we waited outside our hotel 15 minutes before the driver was due as requested. No taxi arrived... I left it for another 10 minutes and still no taxi, so I called the number on the paperwork I had, and spoke to a lady who could not find the booking with the reference number. Eventually she said there will be a taxi there in 5 minutes. We were expecting a car that could comfortably fit 5 people and three suit cases. What turned up was was an old banger that I was worried wouldn't make it to the airport, it was a prius 7 seater but we had so much trouble getting the 3 suit cases in and sitting a child in one of the back seats, there was just not enough room. So the only way to make it work was for the child seat not to be fully positioned back so we could squash a suitcase in and our child had to sit squashed in the seat for the 40 minute journey!!”
“Ver bad pickup and return especially being disabled and with my 2 Granddaughters on their first time in the Gran Canaria.
Went to Kiosk 19 as advised. By the way, their is a Kiosk 19 inside the Airport as well. Very misleading. Gave our details in the Kiosk Outside and were told to go to a certain Stand for the Coach which did not arrive for an half and a half. On our continuous enquires we were told Holiday Taxis had made a mistake with our booking and we were then going to be sent a Mini Coach. Again we waited 45 minutes for this to take us to Puerto Anfi.
On the Return Trip to Las Palmas Airport we were at Reception half an hour before time. The Coach arrived but the Driver did not even bother to ask for us. He was busy talking to another Driver. We had to go upto him to enquire if the Coach was for us.
This was on the 4th February 2023 going out and Return on the 11th February.
Very disappointed with the service on this occasion because I have booked Holiday Taxis on my previous visits to the Canaries. Because of my disability I was expecting a good service.”
