“As we had an early flight from Barcelona we had to arrange an early transfer from Tossa de Mar. We didn't fancy a coach transfer so checked with the local taxi firm but Holiday Taxis gave a much lower quote for a saloon car. Driver turned up on time, was pleasant and the journey through to the airport was comfortable and went smoothly.”
“The drive to the hotel and the driver himself were great. The airport experience not so much. It took us over an hour to get through passport control, so I understand that was beyond our pickup time. However, I did call and communicate what was happening/our status. Upon checking in with the local team in Terminal 1, we were told the driver would be there in “5 to 10 minutes.” It ended being more like 15 to 20. My expectation was that the driver would be standing there with a sign, similar to our excellent Athens experience. Not the best experience after nearly 20 hours of traveling.”
“They made us wait over an hour for our transfer and didn't even send what we requested. Also, on the return transfer they had the wrong time and considered us a no show. We were not able to get in touch with anyone because it was a Sunday. We ended up taking taxis and it was cheaper.”
