“We paid extra for a return private and premium taxi from Chania airport to our hotel in Greece.
Both taxis that took us were neither private or premium. (It felt like the local taxi companies were trying their luck squeezing us in with other passengers who told us they paid less).
We said that we paid extra for a private taxi but they made us get in the one they had arranged.
The taxi was also about 15 years old, not a premium experience at all.
We tried contacting holiday taxis but we did not get a reply for 5 months, in the meantime we had to do a charge back through our bank.
We will not be using holiday taxis again.”

We were one of the last stops for the dropoff so it was quite a long journey - obviously that is the downside of a shared shuttle bus, but at less than half the price of a taxi (for 3 people), it's a fine compromise!”
