“BROKE DOWN BOTH ON WAY TO HOTEL AND WHEN LEAVING TO GO TO AIRPORT. on arrival to the airport we had to wait 1 hour for transfer to leave Izmir airport for another family who was travelling on our bus to arrive. then an hour into our journey we broke down on the side of the motorway (fan belt snapped) and were waiting almost 3 hours for repairs to be made - left with a driver that spoke no english and no water was available. eventually got to our hotel at 2:15am- our flight landed about 21:30. complaint submitted to holidaytaxis on 11th June and no response as of yet.
leaving our hotel to go back to Izmir airport 20 minutes into our journey the bus broke down - no water in the engine coolant. bus began to fill with smoke and engine caught fire. luckily we managed to get another transfer bus and made our flight - but not without the driver making his way to the wrong airport first!!
I’m writing to complain as the service we received was extremely poor and the company used by holiday taxis (meeting point) had no regard for the safety of their passengers. photos attached. if you value your life don’t book with meeting point!!”
