“What a dreadful service.
I paid (in advance of course) for a Taxi transfer for two people on our arrival at 15:30 Tenerife South. We were assured of a taxi with an English speaking Driver. In the event the transport was nearly an hour late, It was not a Taxi but a forty+ foot coach with a driver who did not speak a word of English and we were given no option or opportunity to communicate our displeasure or in fact make othger arrangements. On arrival in the 'Haciendas area' the road was apparently not wide enough for the coach. We were simply dumped on the side of the road with our bags. It was a very hot day, the temperature was ninety degrees - and given completely wrong directions on how to find the reception office to get our keys. It is very mountainous terrain and hauling suitcases in that heat was a rotten start to our holiday break. The return trip a week later was a slight improvement but only after many calls to the emergency number (which was forever engaged) to somehow ensure they new where to collect us at 04:30. They would not have had a clue (if they ever did have) of where to pick us up had it not been for the help and diligence of the Haciendas reception Staff - Many thanks to them.
A word to wouldbe users of this transfer service,,, Don't bother. You are far better off simply getting a taxi on arrival. They are plentiful and there is no saving in booking your transport in advance, in fact save yourself a headache. I believe this fiasco warrants a full refund but I rather doubt this will be forthcoming.”
