“This was a 70th birthday present and having read some reviews that said the quality of the reproduction wasn’t great I was a bit nervous - however I am delighted with the book. It is well produced, well packaged (I bought the gift box) and a wonderful gift. Some of the pages are not so clear to read but this is entirely in line with printing some of the older editions from a microfiche. Would highly recommend!”
“Difficult to get over enthusiastic about the gift book. Arrived in nice box with an attractive enough cover on book, which we had embossed.
However, to actually read SOME of the Daily Telegraph stories is difficult due to poor copy quality. In fact I would go as far to say some print is illegible. The front page copies are from some old black and white mirofiche records held and I know sixty years ago printing was a little behind where we are today but!! It wasn't cheap and here's hoping my sister still enjoys it.”
