“The print is so very tiny that even I, with 20-20 vision, could not read much of the text. My 92-year-old father, for whom I purchased this book as a gift, tried to read the print using magnifiers and a magnifying glass but simply could not. Frustrated with the effort after 30 minutes he put the book down and never opened it again.
There really should be a "large print" edition for the visually impaired. I suspect most of the elderly have some loss of vision issues so a "large print" edition should be a no-brainer.”
“The book was beautifully bound, with personalized name and birth date on the outside, with our best wishes on the first page. My father's 95 years provided a long historical record, which he will very much enjoy. My only suggestion is that the news print was rather small - to fit it onto one side of each page (leaving a blank back side of each page for my father to write in his own memories.) I think it would be better, if possible, to have newsprint on front and back, with a few sheets at the back of the book to write personal memories. This would allow for possibly larger print.”
