“Disappointing experience. Website misleadingly suggest that a personalised message can be added to the gift prior to check out. When this was not possible we contacted the company after check out to ask that a little personalised message is included (the gift set was GBP 99 so not cheap). Unfortunately, this was also not possible and the gift arrived before we had a chance to call in advance and hence the present was opened in advance and confusion caused as my sister and her family were not sure who had sent the present and called around friends and family.
If we had know in advance that this personalised feature was removed we would not have gone ahead with the present. This is a 50th Birthday and during these difficult times we really wanted this to be a special surprise for her 50th Birthday as we can not be together. The personalised service is a very special feature and the reference to this should have been removed if this is something you no longer offer.”
