“It is difficult to fully appreciate the quality of the filtration but I have been using Brita filters for a long time and my kettle has never needed descaling. There have been a few occasions when filters seemed to fail and the water had an unpleasant taste but this is very rare. Personally I prefer to drink filtered water as the taste /smell of bleach can be quite noticeable with tap water.”
