“My 13 yr old collie is on a restricted diet due to gastric reflux (triggered by anaesthetic) and had recently started eating soil. In the hope of providing him with a "controllable" alternative I did a lot of research and discovered Four Leaf Rover Protect. He ate it happily but unfortunately it didn't suit my dog. It made him gag (a symptom of reflux) and burp (which he has never done in the past). I contacted the seller who responded promptly and advised me to contact the parent company in USA. I checked their site which states that unless the product is bought directly from them, they cannot offer a refund. Whilst I understand this, it leaves me £25 out of pocket which I really can't afford. Product went in the bin.”

We understand how frustrating it can be when a product doesn’t work as hoped, especially in this case when your dog's reflux symptoms appeared worse while using it. As all dogs have individual sensitivities and health challenges, it can be really difficult to determine whether a product will be suitable for them without trying it. Following your initial email to us, we did suggest re-introducing Protect gradually to your dog's diet, in small increments to see if your dog can tolerate it when introduced gently. We suggested you speak with Four Leaf Rover directly because we are limited in the advice we can provide, whereas the manufacturer may have experienced this previously, and may have been able to provide more insight. If you had let us know that you were looking to return the product, we would have been happy to advocate on your behalf with the manufacturer to explore possible solutions. While Four Leaf Rover typically cannot uphold their '60 Day Money Back Guarantee' for products not purchased directly from their site, they have in the past worked with us to ensure customer satisfaction in cases like this.
