I believe that the product is great but any of my cats wouldn't touch food with the tiniest amount of the powder sprinkled over it

Hi Barbara. Many thanks for leaving this review. I am sorry to hear that your cats woudn'tt touch their food with the Gut Soothe on it. I have discussed this with Adored Beast in Canada who tell me that Feline Gut Soothe has added liver glandular for palatability, in the hope that this would be tasty to cats as obligate carnivores. I know cats can be fussy and can be very sensitive to supplements being added to their food, so this must be very frustrating. I have written this blog with tips about how best to add supplements to food, so maybe have a read to see if there is anything of interest that may help you. https://www.healthfulpets.co.uk/blog/post/how-to-add-supplements-to-your-pets-food/ I hope this may help? Having seen this product recommended all over feline nutrition sites, I took the plunge and purchased it to help my 6 month old rescue kitten constant runny poo, bloating and gas. (Please note I have visited the vet for full checkup to ensure there isn't anything else and she was fully de-wormed. She was put on Panacur and feaces tested but nothing found). Like literal magic, her poop became solid with zero gas within 3 days of starting the product (1/8th measuring spoon easily found on Amazon to ensure correct dosing). I add it to my kittens food once a day and she gobbles it up with no issue as it has no smell or taste. Do you own research of course but when you look at proper feline nutrition sites, you will find this particular product and brand being sang praises and for a good reason. Don't waste money on Forti Flora or YuMove Digestive powder - we tried it as per vets prescription and nothing, no change. They don't have the right amount of good pre and probiotics or any soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients. You will not regret it, highly recommend.

Although bought for my boy with IBD he refused to eat due to the taste. I then took some to my mum's for her 4 cats to try (to check if he was being fussy) and 4 non fussy cats also refused to touch it in numerous different foods. Won't be repurchasing and disappointed as due to the price it's been a total waste of money.

Hi Peri-Celine. We appreciate you leaving this review, but sorry to hear that both your cat and your Mum's cats refused to touch their food when the product was on it. Adored Beast in Canada have added liver glandular for palatability, to try and make this tasty to cats who are obligate carnivores. I appreciate this must be frustrating as it isnt a cheap product. I do know from my own experience unfortunately how fussy cats can be when adding supplements or anything to their food. You say you tried different foods. Also have a read of this blog that I have written in response to pet parents asking us for advice on how best to add supplements to their pets food. You may find something that may help you? I mix it in every night for my 20yr old cat's overnight feed, and will continue to do so.
