“It is just acceptable. It is a bit large for my Spanish horse but am persevering with it. Don’t see any difference with his poll or his ears being less sensitive. I do like the head collar but too complicated with the guard to keep it in place. I am 5’2” and he is 16.1. The head collar is great just to clip on.”

“My little mare shakes her head. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks, under head collar when in stable, being led on exercise and yesterday toward the end of a schooling session she came gently down onto the bit with a light contact. We didn’t push it for long and finished on a good note. Please note that she has had a new saddle fitted and also her back has been worked on by an osteopath.”

“The poll guard is of a good size and comfortable to the touch however when I went to fit it to my bridle the attachment strap in the middle wasn't long enough to fit around my headpiece . I had to buy a piece of velcro and extend it myself. I think because the ergonomic bridles have wider headpieces I would recommend that the poll guards are manufactured so the central piece of velcro can accomodate the wider headpiece. Apart from that all good.”

“this item is fantastic. my pony seems tense usually when she is tacked up but I noticed with the infrared poll guard she gets more relaxed the longer she wears it. which makes her a bit easier to ride. I really would recommend this product”
