“These are really smart boots and seem very well made. They are warm and soft inside. I've only worn them a couple of times and are finding them quite heavy to walk in but getting used to them. Also because of my high instep they are pinching my feet somewhat but that is a common problem for me and I don't see it as a reflection of the boots, more as a consequence of not being able to try things on before ordering! The next size up would have been far too long in the foot. A big bonus for me, being short-legged, is that they do not come up so high that they dig into the back of my knees when walking up and down hills/stairs, like other boots I have tried and had to return. I think they will be fine when they break in a little as they already feel much more comfortable on second wearing, and today I've been in some awful slippery mud and wet leaves and they've given me good grip. All in all I'm very pleased with them.”
