“I ordered 92 square metres of turf, which arrived, on time, as promised. I'd paid a bit extra for a morning delivery, and was glad I did: it was quite a challenge getting it all unloaded, and laid, and it was good to be able to do this in daylight. I won't know how good the turf is until I see it in full bloom, in the summer (hopefully), but it looks very promising indeed: you can see so many different kinds of plants in the turves, plus various bulbs, and tiny carrots. And very encouragingly, there were quite a few wriggling worms, chomping on the soil, so if they survived the journey, I hope the flowers have. Even without flowers, the finished lawn looks lovely - it's a scruffy country meadow rather than a manicured garden lawn, but you can see all the variety in it - the clover, the daisies, the unusual grasses. So far I'm impressed, and I can't wait to see it in its full glory.”
