I recently bought the NEW Kinder 10L Race Vest, plus a couple of the 500ml soft water bottles with the long straws. All arrived as expected in great condition. I'm not the fastest or longest runner around. However, ran 20k with the race vest and water bottles in place. Also took the race vest for a 12k fast walk. Both times were very comfortable on the back and front. Was able to easily adjust the front straps, so the vest fitted well. The filled water bottles were a bit of a fiddle for me to get in place, though that's probably more my dexterity than the product. Once in place, they didn't move whilst running or walking and using the long straws was able to easily sip water whenever I wanted, without any difficulty or need to stop. Plenty of pockets on the vest for mobile phones, keys, nutrition and more. I haven't used the back pocket for carrying anything yet, though there is plenty of space.

Sizing is spot on and sensible size front clips make it easy to get on and off. With limited use so far, the adjustment creeps a little despite a rubberised finish. The black/red looks really smart. The pack is fair value compared to others but I've a few concerns. The back is quite thin mesh and I wonder how it will survive in longer term. As there's no real thickness you have to take care with packing. I've not physically checked the claimed 10l capacity but it seems smaller than a previous 8l pack in terms of fitting in a standard set of kit. The side sections give a great fit but the zip width is a bit narrow for my camera. My final small gripe is that the (sensible) clip for a water bladder is a bit big for the one I've got. This is a tough compromise for the designer, small would be universal but fiddly! Whilst it seems as though I'm just wishing the pack was more like an old one, it would be great for Harrier to be fairly confident that their bag is compatible with others to avoid waste for those of us with oddments of kit. The comfort and stability is enough to make me keep it and I'll have to report back in a year....

Only just bought a couple of weeks ago, and not yet been used on a run, so this is more of a first impressions/just putting it on review. The bag feels nice to put on, though I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit (and that is quite fiddly, because the straps are all elastic which means you often end up stretching them rather than actually tightening them). There is only a single zip on top to access the main compartment, which is divided into two by a mesh. The front bit is meant to hold most of the gear and it looks like it will hold pretty much everything. The dividing mesh also has a small pocket right at the top in front which could be used to hold keys and such. It has a clip, which is quite handy. The back bit can hold a bladder (or more things, if you do not need a bladder). There are several pockets on the shoulder straps, and they hold the 500ml soft bottles and can hold a phone as well (and more, there are quite a few pockets there). I will update this review once I have had a chance to use this vest on a run. Update: I have now used this on a 43 mile run and it worked very well. Held everything I needed, including 2x 500ml soft bottles, my phone, and about 10 gel packets. I also had a spare base layer in the main compartment.

I love this Kinder vest! I use it on my run commute if I don’t need my laptop. It’s roomy enough for my change of clothes and has enough pockets for lanyards, keys, phone, inhaler and all the other bits and bobs a work day requires. It’s really light, doesn’t move and is so comfortable to run with! Lots of settings for the straps to get the fit right for you.

I'm really impressed with the quality and fit given it was so much cheaper than its competitors. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.
