I've been using the Kinder 10L Race Vest for the last couple of months as I ramp up for a 100k ultra. The most important thing for me was fit- I was pretty frustrated with hydration packs and vests that look great but bounce all over the moment you hit the trail. No worries about that with the Kinder- it feels like it was tailored to me and I get no bounce at all. It is CRITICALLY important to measure your chest and size appropriately as there are no adjustment straps on the side of the vest. I sit exactly at 38" and the Small is perfect. If you're in between sizes (like I am), I suggest sizing down, especially if you like a more snug fit. There are more pockets than I know what to do with. So many vests are either minimalist and can't carry much more than water and a few gels, or they are 30L trekking packs. The Kinder 10L is awesome for that in-between run and easily fits emergency gear, extra layers, and all your nutrition needs without being this huge pack. The pole straps function great and are a breeze to use on the trail. The vest material is very light and comfortable. Salt stains are quite visible on the black, which is either a plus or a minus. I always look like I've been working like a beast after a long run. I just take the vest in the shower with me and it looks good as new. I also bought the racing bundle and really like the quality of the med kit, survival bag, and soft bottles. Lastly, Kate and all the customer service at Harrier were awesome during the whole process. The Harrier Kinder 10L Race Vest is excellent and just what I was looking for.

The product is high quality, lightweight and comfy. I run with two solid 500ml water bottles and the deep pockets support these well. The back section has plenty of space also for a waterproof jacket etc. highly recommend.

This new Kinder 10L race vest is by far the most comfortable and affordable I’ve ever worn. A huge improvement on the first version. It holds a huge capacity in backpack area, super for side pocket storage too. The only hydration vest I’ve owned that doesn’t run on the sides of my neck. Yet to try it with running sticks though, so far so good.

I purchased the old version of the Kinder 10 a couple of years ago and was impressed with it. The new version was too tempting so I ordered one of them. Before it was shipped Harrier contacted me to ensure I had the correct size as they had altered the sizing. I am 36-37 chest and in the old style this equated to medium, but in the new I was small. It fits very well, better than the earlier model. The changes are subtle to see but much better to appreciate when on the move. It's much easier to insert bottles in the pouches whilst on the go, the shoulder straps feel a little wider and the whole vest is more comfortable and much easier to get on and off.

Only had my pack out on one outing so haven't completely got to know it but it was super comfortable for my 23hr race so that's a great start. Lots of useful pockets and options for hydration. I look forward to getting to know the layout better. (It wasn't my most well prepared for race). One slight issue is that the method of securing the water bladder within the pack is a snap buckle and it is too big to fit through my water bladder top. My previous pack had a velcro attachment. The service from Harrier was excellent.
