“Great product in terms of protection from the sun, never got burned and I have Indian light brown skin. The only issue I've experienced is if I put this sun cream around my neck, it turns my white clothes around collar like yellow colour meaning the cream is rubbing off onto my white clothing so just beware, hopefully they can optimise the formula so this doesn't happen like other brands. I have to use a different sun cream for my neck now.”

“In the past two years, I have been transitioning my use of cosmetics to brands that sell vegan products and have a sustainability ethos. Although the market is not short on vegan skincare products I have struggled to find a sunscreen that my skin liked. The ones I tried were very pasty and tick in texture, leaving a white layer on my dark skin that of course did not make me feel good about my image. Gruum's sunscreen was a lifesaver! My skin liked it instantly! It absorbs well, has a moisturising but not pasty texture and is SPF50! I am in love with it and thankful for it. Having dermatitis sunscreen is a must for me! I have oily, acne and blemish-prone, skin, and I am mixed race, just in case you are too and need a recommendation :)”

Hi Lois, thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you're using our face sunscreen, we haven't altered the ingredients so it's hard to say why the product is now 'pilling'. “With the recent heatwave in the UK my 9 year old son has been using this and its the only sunscreen that sinks into his skin like a moisturiser and doesn't sweat off throughout the day, he now refuses to use another product for his face.”

“Picked this up on a promotional freebie last year and didn’t expect much. We run an outdoor adventure company and are often in the sea in the summer sun all day through spring and summer. I was blown away by the effective protection of this stuff. Plus my sensitive, acne prone skin didn’t break out - a miracle. I never write reviews for anything, but fair play this stuff is amazing.”
