Hi Barry, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent purchase at Gruum. I am sorry to hear that the solstraler After Sun Bar was not as expected. The After sun bar is a moisturiser rather than a shower bar and if you follow the 'How to use' instructions from our website then hopefully you will achieve a better result and enjoy using the product: 1. Use on freshly washed, dry skin. 2. Glide the bar across your skin and massage in, or simply warm the bar between your hands until it melts a little onto your palms, then massage into affected areas. 3. Store in cool conditions and keep out of direct sunlight. I hope this information helps! “This performed very well as an after sun - it was easily applied, soothed my face and in the absence of any antiseptic cream (as I was on holiday) it also eased a spot that had developed on my nose. Highly recommended.”
