The Tvatta Shower gel bars, do not foam like regular shower gel as they are soap-free. The surfactant in the product is derived from coconut and cleans just as well however the bars do not create large bubbles but are more of a creamy layer that cleans and moisturises the skin at the same time. “I found it a little disappointing , I took the bar away and although very handy to travel with I felt it didn’t soap up a lot when I was using it , the smell also didn’t notice on my skin ? I wondered if they are not supposed to soap up ? But I like a creamy body wash that leaves my skin smelly nice and soft .”

“I really don't like writing a bad review and this is the first time I have ever had to do it for a Gruum product, but the shower gel bars have been a total disappointment I'm sorry to say. Firstly, of the 4 I bought, only the Bergamot and Grapefruit bar had any discernible scent (very pleasant) and secondly and most importantly, despite following the instructions to "swirl the bar in your hands under warm water, to lather", there was absolutely no lather! I tried 3 of the bars and could get no sign of any lather at all, which made for an unpleasant shower experience, like washing with a stone. I gave the 4th bar to a friend as a gift and now feel that I will have to apologise.”

“Bought as part of the railcard offer paying for only the postage. Whilst I have read that the shower bars don't soap up in response to Trustpilot reviews, the back of the box says 'swirl the bar in your hands under warm water, to lather' If that's not the case, and it did absolutely nothing (not even the creamy layer as you state), then you shouldn't be using that word. Also my black pepper and cedarwood bar was described as 'sweet violet and deep rose' on the box which makes me wonder if they were seconds/didn't pass quality checks and are shifting it this way. There is barely any fragrance at all. Very disappointing.”
