“The product was beyond poor and compared to other gel bars I've purchased it was appalling. I tried two of the four received, after 48 hours they were thrown away as were the two I didnt bother trying. There was no fragrance, the bars didnt work into a lather and had no noticeable cleaning effect. Awful.”

The Tvatta Shower gel bars, do not foam like regular shower gel as they are soap-free. The surfactant in the product is derived from coconut and cleans just as well however the bars do not create large bubbles but are more of a creamy layer that cleans and moisturises the skin at the same time. “I like the fragrance of the first one I've started. Got a bit of an issue with getting anything out of it. I don't expect an SLS foamy lather, but can't actually get any suds off it to wash myself with. Doesn't really give with a shower puff either. Is there a technique?”

“These didn't work at all for me. While they smelled nice, none of the soaps lathered. My other grim set was good so I'm not sure what went wrong with these”

“Terrible bars - don't lather and therefore don't clean. A cheap bar of soap would do a better job. Avoid.”

“Lovely looking and smelling gel bars. Unfortunately they didn’t create any lather or melted enough with water to produce enough product to clean yourself. Consequently it didn’t feel as though they had the desired effect, so sadly we gave the rest of the bars away.”

“Only one of the four smelt strong enough to notice. The bars didn’t lather at all on my skin, bit of a waste unfortunately. Perhaps because they were sample ones they didn’t have the same formulation as the main bars since I bought an additional bar and that one was much better.”

“This product is useless as it has no lather at all, and even if you massage it into wet skin it does nothing, and therefore is only fit for the bin. This is very disappointing as all the other products I have tried have been excellent. I contacted Gruum about this issue, and they assured me they would refer my comments to their product development team. If they tried using it themselves it would confirm what I said. I sincerely hope this product is withdrawn to prevent anyone else wasting their money.”
