“This shampoo has definitely improved my non dandruff related itchy scalp. Lathers well and rinses out easily. Only downside is that the bars don't seem to last as long as their other shampoo bars”

“Ok so I received a free shampoo bar from Gruum which massively improved my scalp condition (it’s itchy and flaky) so I decided to purchase a new shampoo bar when my free sample finished. The free sample was nourishing bar but as this one stated ‘scalp repair’ I thought it might be even a better fit but unfortunately it wasn’t, it made my scalp even worse. I have reordered the nourishing one now but unfortunately I can’t recommend the scalp repair shampoo, hence one star only :(”

“Started off really great and stopped my scalp itching, but after 2 weeks of using it my scalp became flakey and itchy again so had to stop using it.”

“Quite a revelation really, pleasantly surprised, as I have a fussy scalp. Having used Gruum's Henna (and something) shampoo bar for a while, the recurring dry patch on my scalp decides to return, which usually means switching to rhassoul clay for a while, but instead I decided to try the the scalp repair bar. An initial wash did not fix the problam, but I persevered, and by second wash a week later the dry patch had disappeared again - thanks so much, really happy with this formula, and would recommend. The only slight down side is that like so many solid shampoos, it's still a bit harsh for semi-permanent coloured hair and strips colour out - maybe a product for Gruum to develop? A mild, colour-friendly shampoo bar and conditioner?”
