“Unfortunately this was not a good product for cleaning my hair. I have a lot of long, fine/thin hair. It took a lot of goes to get enough lather for long hair and felt like it clung to my hair rather than washing out despite much thorough rinsing. After the shower, once blow dried, my hair remained with a greasy looking, unpleasant coated texture. I wouldn't recommend for long, fine hair. However, as a body wash it was adequate, gentle to my sensitive skin, and smelled lovely so was useful as a travel shower soap.”

“I used this on a holiday to Indonesia. Given the trouble the Australian airline gave me over my bottle of sunscreen hair protector (!), I was glad I didn't have to worry about the travel bar. It worked perfectly as a body bar, smelled divine and kept me clean and fresh. I have extremely fine hair so was a little cautious about using a soap bar on it, expecting it to be too aggressive and dry it out. I was really surprised at how well it performed. Not only did my hair feel clean, it actually felt quite conditioned and looked shiny. The one drawback was that it used up quite quickly. I was down to a small disc by the end of my 3 week vacation which is quite pricey for a shampoo and shower gel combo, but it was lighter and far more convenient so I'd definitely buy it again the next time I go on holiday! I also like the environmental aspect - it made me think about how I use toiletries at home, particularly with regard to plastic containers.”

“Like the shampoo bar, this is easy to use on hair and body (and probably for small amounts of handwashing of 'smalls' when away from home). More citrussy fragrance than the shampoo bar. Quite gentle, so could probably use fairly frequently. I may try using this as a post-swim shampoo/body wash when my current one (in a plastic tube...) is finished.”

“I find this bar is a good shampoo for the little hair I have. Lasts for a long time and is non abrasive leaving my hair and scalp feeling good. Will buy again.”

“I've used block soap and shampoo for several years so was delighted when I saw this combination for travel. Foolishly I dine try it before telling it on holiday. As a face or body soap it was fine but it destroyed my hair. It felt like straw no matter how much I tried to rinse it out. I don't like to give negative reviews but this time I felt I had to say something. I had to get a liquid shampoo to remove the damage and I Ralf try to avoid singled use plastic. I haven't been disappointed by any of your other products, just a shame about this one.”
