“Unsure about this, the dog chewed the box so I am not sure how to use it. Do I rinse off or leave on? Do I rub it directly on my hair or get it on my hands. The instructions on both boxes is very tiny print, not easy for elderly or sight challenged.”

Hi Connie, Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the conditioner bar. Admittedly solid conditioner can take a little more getting used to than solid shampoo, especially when we have gotten so used to tipping a lot of liquid onto the hair. They don't lather/foam as shampoo bars do, so it can help if you put the bar into some warm water prior to use, so it starts to dissolve a bit and release more product. Also, when using a liquid conditioner we are often advised to get rid of excess moisture, but that's not the case with a solid conditioner as they are water activated, so best to keep the hair really wet for application and leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing. “I love solid shampoo and conditioner bars, great for travelling and much greener than plastic bottles. Until now though the conditioner bars that I’ve tried from other brands have been a disappointment as it’s been near impossible to get any product onto my hair. Not at all with this bar! When rubbed between the hands with water it produces a lovely creamy lotion which can then be massaged into wet hair. Beautiful shiny, soft hair afterwards…absolutely love it!”

“I've used the shampoo, soap and conditioner bars before, but the shampoo bar has been a godsend on holiday! No extra weight, used as body cleanser too, and even great for washing clothes in our Lanzarote sc apartment. Plus my hair is fab and a little smear of the conditioner bar sorts out hair frizzies better than any serum! Subscription now sorted.”
